Wintertime camping here is low numbers of campers, and easy to find almost any spot available. We camped near the playground which was great for the grandson, and with heated bathhouses nearby that was convenient as well. This is a great year round campground.

Always have a great experience here. We usually spend the day in one of the rivers fishing, and itβs so great to come back to camp, cook dinner and get washed up. Facilities are always clean and stocked!

I didn't really spend much time here (I arrived at dusk and left at dawn). I was able to recharge my house batteries after a week of dispersed camping in the nearby National Forests. Uncrowded on Boxing Day. I would definitely stay here again.

Made last minute reservations to take advantage of unseasonably warm weather in December. Host was very helpful on site selection. Grounds and facilities are well maintained. Wonderful fishing trip.

This is our favorite campground but the generation schedule never makes sense. We are dumbfounded as to why they canβt run the most water at night and less during the day. Now I realize the campground has nothing to do with the generation schedule but it does factor in how many times we visit per year.

Love this campground! I love trout fishing and this campground is perfect for that with the North Fork River running beside it. Highly recommend.

I really enjoy this campground. I wish all of the sites on the river side had the large covered area like the top part though. I tent camp and the top sites have better shade and cover for my belongings. nice showers. The light in the middle should be on a timer or turned off at night. It will light up your tent like sunlight. You have to really watch where you reserve for tent camping.

I stayed in site 12 on Thanksgiving weekend. The weather and the view of the river from the site were both perfect! Certain times of the year, there is no water at some sites and 12 is one of them. But there is a spigot right across the road and the bathhouses are right there as well. Bathhouses were clean each of the 5 days I was there. The campground was (and always is) very well maintained and is within close driving distance of several great towns, with something to do in each. I was busy with holiday events or I would have put a fishing line in; great fishing at the campground! All of this to say, don't let the no water issue hold you back from staying in one of the river facing sites during the off season; amenities are close by and the view is more than worth it!
