What Guests Are Saying
Dam - Quarry is a beautiful and peaceful campground, loved for its scenic views and spacious sites, particularly for fishing enthusiasts. Many campers appreciate the friendly park staff and overall cleanliness of the area. However, the facilities, especially the shower houses and restrooms, are in need of significant refurbishment and maintenance, which has affected some visitors' experiences.

I enjoyed my 2 wks stay at Dam Quarry. The park is well patrolled by the park attendants and the park rangers. They were always willing to answer any questions I had. My only complaint was phone reception was very poor to nonexistent.

We love camping trips to this park. The sites are clean with water and electric at each site. The shower and bathroom facilities are well maintained and great hot water.I only have 2 recommendations, more clothes hooks in the
shower areas and the fire rings may need replacement soon.

Nice campground with plenty of room to bike and walk. Bathrooms werenβt real clean and water was only like warm for showers. Playground was very loud from screaming kids. We were near the check in booth and in a circle loop for people going to the boat launch. Very busy for that reason. When we got there we found dog poop all over our site. Also the water had been shut off on our loop but not others. I would get a site on the water and the sites in the middle of the campground seemed very nice. Camp host was nice and helpful to find firewood. The trout stream below the dam was beautiful and we saw lots of trout caught. Would stay again.

hard to get a spot reserved we had friends who tried to get a spot next to us and had to get two spots down The spot between us showed reserved all week and no one was there. the one on the other side had a camper in it and never seen a soul come and go. I thought if you had a spot you had to occupy them also the park was maybe half full all week but showed full. but there did have some campers come and go. I have talked to several folks and they reserve spots all over the state and at the last day cancel People who have to work don't always know when they can get off until a few days ahead. The way this is set up makes it hard to plan a trip. There should be a way for people not to reserve several spots around the state for the same week. Therefore opening up camping spots
