We had an issue with the power pole and wanting to change sites but the local office and recreation.gov both told us they couldn't do that.

Site 34 that we stayed in had a fabulous view of the lake. The ridiculously bright light on the shower house made it difficult to truly enjoy the night sky though. The sewage treatment plant sits in the middle of the loops and although there was no smell the pumps could be a little distracting when they were running. There is only one very small dump station that can be a bit tricky for bigger rigs to get into. This is an older park with lots of trees. It is well cared for but definitely showing it's age compared to some of the other parks with well groomed sites and full hookups. It's only 30 minutes away from Hot Springs National Park and I would recommend checking out the town.

- No off-road vehicles allowed in park
- Don't Move Firewood: Protect your forests from tree-killing pests by buying your firewood locally and burning it on-site. Visit Dontmovefirewood.org for further information.
- Camper Self-Check In Cards are located at the entrance of the campground. Please grab a card apon entry, fill it out and attach it to your campsite post. A ranger will verify the information written on the card later and check you in.
