What Guests Are Saying
Denby Point is a beautiful and well-maintained campground that offers clean facilities, spacious sites, and a peaceful atmosphere, perfect for families and nature lovers. Many guests appreciated the friendly staff, ample shade, and proximity to the lake, making it an enjoyable place to relax. However, some noted issues with GPS directions, uneven camper pads, and the need for more attention to certain bathroom facilities.

I'll keep this short. My experience here was so good that we're considering moving to the area. The campground is excellent. The fishing is excellent. I could go on and on... But see for yourselves... 5 stars easily.

We always enjoy camping at Denby. Grass needed to be mowed.

Denby Point was the last of 10 campgrounds we visited over a 2 1/2 month period. It was easily our favorite. We stayed in 41C and were right on the water. There was a little trail (steep) from the campsite down to the water and enough "beach" on which to perch a chair. The only issue with this particular site is that you have to go around a very tight loop in order to be in position to back in. Our trailer is 19' pulled by an extended cab pickup. We negotiated the turn ok, but would not have wanted to be any longer. We stopped a couple of big rigs that were headed down our way before they got into the loop. A sign at the beginning of the road would be helpful. As some others have mentioned, the noise from the waste treatment building is annoying, but that is the only annoying thing I can think of. Otherwise the campground was quiet. Bathrooms were very clean.

Within a very short walk, we were able to view an eagle's nest with lots of activity across the water and enjoyed it the entire weekend. We fished from the shore that was also a short walk.

Nice elevated waterfront campsite, not very crowded, with clean bath houses. We love the COE campgrounds and the value for the daily rate.
