What Guests Are Saying
Denby Point is a beautiful and well-maintained campground that offers clean facilities, spacious sites, and a peaceful atmosphere, perfect for families and nature lovers. Many guests appreciated the friendly staff, ample shade, and proximity to the lake, making it an enjoyable place to relax. However, some noted issues with GPS directions, uneven camper pads, and the need for more attention to certain bathroom facilities.

A very nice and scenic place to camp. The grass areas throughout the campsites needed some mowing and trimming.

We tent camped at sites #45 & 46. #45 has room for another tent, but #46 does not. The view was amazing! Right on a bluff that’s secluded but campers can still see you. A trail to put our kayak in at the site. You have to haul everything to site 45. But, it wasn’t terrible. Bathhouse is in walking distance but not close. Trails were short and easy through wooded terrain. Park needs brochures with maps to hand out at entrance.

Denby Point is a peaceful and beautiful location. We camped on Loop A, the smallest of the loops. Access to the lake was available in multiple locations along the loop, perfect for kayaking. There was plenty of shade and stunning views of the lake and sunset.

the campgroung is awesome. the bathrooms are super clean and very nice, way better than any other state campground i have been. but the whole reservation thing is absolutely ridiculous. It took me 3 days to figure out how to make a reservation on the website, no one would help me with it and the attendants at the camp groung insisted that i could not book the reservation from the camp ground and i had to be completely off the property. and the phone number to reserve a camp site is useless and the worst thing is all the camp ground workers know the phone number doesnt work and they were not helpful with the website either.
