It is a great spot and close to the bathhouse. The pictures don’t show it, but yes the lake is behind the camper.
However, it’s a steep walk down, and up top anyone with little kids, like myself you have to be careful. Because it’s not the lake below it, but rocks then the lake, not to deter from this spot it’s a good one. But be mindful of this, and you can’t park/pull your boat on the bank either.

in the area to dig quartz crystals several mines close, easy access to Mt Ida and Hot Springs area for all the activities Would certainly stay there again

My campsite was great, perfectly shaded for the hot summer day. The restrooms were clean and accessible. Every day I was there I saw staff come in and remove trash and clean the restrooms.

- No off-road vehicles allowed in park
- Don't Move Firewood: Protect your forests from tree-killing pests by buying your firewood locally and burning it on-site. Visit Dontmovefirewood.org for further information.
- Camper Self-Check In Cards are located at the entrance of the campground. Please grab a card apon entry, fill it out and attach it to your campsite post. A ranger will verify the information written on the card later and check you in.
