We had a very nice 7 days camping except for the women's showers not draining and the lawn mower crew mowing in and around our campsite with us sitting outside and clothes drying on the line.

Large, clean lots. The lake is absolutely beautiful. Electric and water was on site. Everyone was respectful and very quiet. The playground was one of the best playgrounds I’ve ever seen. I think my only possible complaint was we were a little confused on the check in process because there was nowhere to check in So we just went ahead and went straight to our campsite and did our thing. Same with checking out.

The site we were at was right at the swimming area. Close to bathroom and showers. Ladies kept the showers and bathroom clean daily. Space was small but great location on the lake being is is a cove.

The new Cowhide Cove is an absolutely beautiful campground. More signage is needed to direct campers between the new and old sections. Because there is no sign we went to the older section which was difficult and tight to turn around. In the new section every site has a beautiful lake view. An extra bonus was the FHU. There is a long shoreline for easy kayak launching. Camp host was very friendly and helpful. We would definitely want to return.
