A beautiful place to camp! Everything was well kept, the bathrooms and showers were clean and well maintained. We really enjoyed the Fish Trail (easy hiking), and went a little ways on the other trails but had limited time (we camped during the eclipse.) The rock formations along the upper trails were amazing! Lots of steps and climbing but great photo opportunities!
The staff were super friendly and helpful. All in all a great experience!

We were tent camping on site G-11. It was a great location to get away from the crowds and RVs. We were there for the eclipse and spent 3 nights. Hiking is somewhat limited but it was still nice.

We enjoyed this park. Not fancy but well cared for. The bath house I used was in good condition and clean. We would make this a first choice if we are in the area again.

we had a wonderful trip/stay at shoal bay , they keep the park & sites very clean , a quiet & family friendly park. a dollar general is nearby & a restaurant that is very good also nearby.. trees are near the pads so be sure when reserving to make sure of the footage of that site to match with your RV.

Had a great experience there during the eclipse. Great site. Kids had fun at the park. The only thing we didn't like was the bathroom made a weird loud noise randomly all day and night. Also the showers were closed, but that didn't bother us.

Beautiful, well-kept campground; we had a great time. Camp is a little too well lit.

Shoal Bay is always clean and the hosts are very friendly. We visit here several times a year and this was where we wanted to be for the eclipse and it was perfect for the viewing.

The weather was perfect. The campsite was crowded with all the eclipse watchers but that was OK. We were situated near the bay with a beautiful mountainous view. We will definitely be back!

Bathrooms were in very bad shape. Garbage dumpsters over flowing with trash. We left early

The park was very trashy and the garbage end were full and overflowing. The attendees was very rude letting dogs run around the park without a leash. Wasn’t fun at all.
