Great location for site-seeing, wine tasting, and great barbeque around the town of Ozark. Sites along the river are great.

I really liked the park. I would have given it 5 stars if not for the absence of soap in the bathrooms. Please provide soap in the bathrooms. Rest was all fine. Thank you.

The camp hosts were wonderful! Very friendly and helpful, even offered to help me back my camper in and set up if needed. Campground was clean and well maintained. Will definitely go back there.

We stayed in B4. I was glad that we stayed at that end because there were lots of sites in the middle that had so many people. We went for walks around the park and one site literally had 11 cars, 2 boats, and a camper. There were at least 25 people at the site. I felt sorry for the people that were staying around them. I like this campground, but the hosts don't seem to be willing or able to make people follow the rules. The sites on our end were really nice. They were level with lots of trees and were right on the water. We had a really nice view of the river. The sites from area F are newer, but have less shade and you can't get to the water easily. Their view is mainly of the dam. The train runs several times during the day and night, but it didn't bother us. We took some time and drove over to Mt. Magazine to do some hiking. The little town of Paris was really quaint. There's a winery there, Cowie Winery, that has some beautiful hanging bells and wine to try. There's also a monastery on the East side of Paris that has a brewery, which was unique. If you haven't been to A-Z shops near Alma, you should definitely visit those. Overall, a nice stay.

Wonderful peaceful place! We love the trains on the other side of the River and we enjoy the barges! The sites are spaced far apart and perfect! They just need to get sewer hook ups! Although we don’t mind the dump station!

While at AUX ARC campground, had a major storm come thru park with heavy rains and high winds that caused dead limbs to fall on hood of new Jeep Cherokee and
cause damage to my hood. Tried to report damage to Park Attendant who was not interested in taking time to take report of incident.,...... not a very happy camper

The park is beautiful and clean. Our only issue is that check in isn't mandatory. It was difficult to find anyone at the booth. Our family had two sites reserved months in advance. My brother got there on Thursday and someone was in his site. The guy told him that he was told that it was available even though my brother had the paperwork showing his reservation for that night. My brother took our site because we weren't scheduled until Friday. Before we got to the campground on Friday, another person's tried to claim our site starting that they were told to just pick any empty site. My brother showed a screenshot of our reservation and then parked his truck in the spot until we got there. We never checked in because we didn't find anyone at the booth two times during their business hours. I noticed that hardly anyone had checked in. Never had this issue at any other COE park.
