Absolutely fabulous place. Place was clean and well maintained. Bathrooms were new and perfect. Only complaint was the fire rings. Not sure what the thinking was having walls over a foot high and doubled walled but I sure there was a reason, somewhere.

Very nice large spot backing up to the river.
Sites have only water and electric.
The sign on entrance warns of a 5 Ton weight limit is apparently wrong as there are no bridges and manager said to ignore it.
Verizon service was spotty at my site C-5 but good up on the river berm outside of the park.

We enjoyed a great time at Rising Star but nothing compares to Dam Quary in Salesville, Ark. That staff is the best we have ever experienced anywhere in the nation. Blessings, Charles & Sheron Anderson
