It’s very pretty and right on the river. No gate closing, so you can arrive late. It’s good, not great - no bins, even at the restroom. Restrooms have en suite shower, very nice. They were out of hand soap and could use a cleaning when I was there.

Check in was easy. Our site (17) was level and pretty clean. Just a one night stop over. Didn’t use the bath house. Some plastic bottles were left in the fire pit. We weren’t planning to use but it anyway, but don’t understand why folks do things like that. It appears that they may have a mole problem. Our dog wanted to dig in the holes made by the moles.
Lots of Over the air tv channels and good satellite reception. AT&T cell coverage was also good. Dump station was Out Of order, this was May 9th 2022.
Right on the river, enjoyed watching the flowing river. It was a nice breezy day. There was an older motor home across the way that looked to have quite a few folks staying there and we watched them carry a muffler and tail pipe to the motor home. Never did see them working on the motor home though.
Would stay here again.

Enjoyed the stay. Everything was real good but the fire pit had beer cans and a 12 pack box and several 2X4 pieces in it. I told the attendant on my way out about it.

Willow Beach is a nice quiet place. The camping sites are level for the most part. Some of the sites are close together and some are spread out. Down side is the bath house is at the very end of the campground and the only trash bin is at the very front of the park along with the dump station. Overall my wife and I liked it and would recommend it to anybody.

Very peaceful and pretty. The front of the site was very low, but backed up to the river.

Dump station was not working for entire week
A lot of folks camping in tents - coming in before dark and leaving after sunrise - bathrooms were without paper many times and no soap to wash your hands
Gate was not locked after hours (daughter left to work 11:30 to 7:30) had access code but didn’t need it.

Well the Dump Station was down, and the site map and the actual sites do not match. I had to haul back a full Black Tank 225 mi. witch cost more fuel and was somewhat unsafe. We had site 10 and on Rec.Gov it showed it on the lake side of the road, well 10 was painted on the table on the back of the road by a lot of brush and buggy water. But I can give you a very good grade for the Restroom/Shower. They were very well maintained and very clean, thanks.
