The park was very neat and clean. All services worked excellent. When I was held up by a accident on Interstate 65 for over an hour the park host called me and gave instructor late arrival. Thank you Corps of Engineers for another great park!

Great park. The only down side is the park’s proximity to the lake results in mosquito infestation in the early evening. To the park’s credit, they do fog the area every evening with bug repellent. This helps a lot, but I don’t like that I have to breathe in the fog myself. I’m sure it’s safe or they wouldn’t do it.

Other than that, this is an excellent camping and day use area. The camping spots are ideal. The concrete pads are in good shape and the facilities are clean and well-lit. The area is quiet and serene.

I loved my campsite, shaded, large, great view. Was very quiet at night, also lovely. If the park had been mowed would have been ideal.

Park was very clean, all the grass areas were mowed. We had our road bikes with us and it made a for a good ride around the park, from the camp site to the other side of the park and up to the host site was just at 4 miles. Most of the camp sites are fairly level and most are shaded. I love the bathroom/shower combo (there are 4 at the campsite) with hot water. We were on the river side so you could see the boats on the river (with this said there was a boat (very loud motor and lots of Lights) that was out on the river channel/cove by our campsite at 5am in the morning). No fault of the park just putting this out there. If you need something there is a Dollar General about 5/6 miles down the road.
