I've found Corps of Engineers campgrounds among the best and this one is a great example. The setting and view is beautiful from any campsite, there are hook-ups and there is plenty of space between sites. I think the bath house is fairly new. There are four all-in-one bathrooms with showers - which were very clean.

Loved the park and location, unfortunately when we got their at 5:00 campers had apparently set up in our spot who didn't have a reservation. It felt a little ackward and I didn't like it. So we had to wait for them to back up and then the moved to a different reserved spot. They left once the other campers come in, but I felt like this could have been avoided.

Was there 3 days & nights didn’t leave the campsite and never saw camp host, I thought that was a little strange. Would have liked a little firewood available for an evening fire.
Other then that all was fine

Excellent location, not too far off the highway, but enough so you don’t hear the free way at all. The sites are amazing, spaced far apart, shady, and many waterfront. 30 amp water sites only. Dump station close by. Good ATT signal and good antenna tv coverage.
