Beautiful place!! Very friendly host!! Showers needs attention one works really good the other barely works. Make sure to visit Jerry at bait and more just up the road,ma and pa shop and Jerry is very knowledgeable about everything around.

Loved the overall location, and all the campers there were great fun.
The spot we were hoping to get(29), we were told by staff was already reserved, but no one ever showed up. We had never camped here before and didn't realize we needed to book ahead of time. The staff tried their best to accomidate.
The spot we were redirected to(28) didn't have any flat spots for tents at all except on the pavement, very disappointed after we told staff we were in a tent. We later found out from a regular camper that sometime back a bunch of work was done on the campgrounds, and the flat spots that used to be in 28 had all been ruined during work. Next time we'll know better to register well in advance for better spots, lol

Just a single night stay while passing through. Our site was situated at the top of the hill, with a gentle breeze and shade- it proved to be a lovely respite from the heat. Short walk to the swimming area. The swim areas very nicely maintained and clearly roped off from boaters. Popular on the weekends, family friendly. Cell coverage was adequate. Be sure to check out the nearby Nimrod dam- there is an easy path with wildflowers made for a pretty fun stroll for an up close view of the dam. Would stay again if our travels take us in that direction!
