Horseshoe Bend is a great camp site. I love it because its like several different sites in one. Depending on which part of the park you stay in, you will get a totally different experience.

Great time! Thankful that the Corps was able to get it open after the high water all spring.

Always enjoy staying at Horseshoe Bend. I would suggest they do some tree trimming. I had trees scrapping the top and sides of my camper as I drove through the park. I noticed quite a few of the campers did in our area as well. I noticed several hard scrapes on my roof that I am going to have to repair now due to this fact. The older shower/bathroom (near sites 177-184) could use a remodel but the other shower/bathroom (near sites 120-121) isn't bad.
Overall the park is really nice and the current attendants are very friendly and helpful which wasn't always the case.

We had campsite 164. We loved the location of the site. What we didn’t like was how hard it was to get our camper in the site. Them the hill with the rock hill. We almost ate it everytime walking down it.

There restrooms are full of poop. There not cleaning them including the showers. If they can pay contractors to mow the park so much money. Why don't they give clean restrooms?
