decent spot if you're parking a camper but it is not the best spot for a tent. its situated on a hill with no flat spots. would highly suggest a different spot if tent camping

This campground is located along Beaver Lake and has great campsites for a variety of sizes of campers. However, the campground itself is laid out in a rather complex pattern and it's difficult to figure out which direction to go to get to your site. Our site required us to go around the access road and come in from the east while others down our same lane would access their spot from the west. There is limited signage directing you. We watched a number of larger campers backing up to figure out how to get to their spot.
Also, some of the trees have low hanging branches, one of which caused significant damage to our camper roof.

Ranger was extremely rude - he yelled at us for “off-roading” after we had to pull off to the side to check in because there was a broken down camper van in the way. This was after the host had just told us to park off to the side in the grass ? Camp hosts very unwelcoming and not friendly at all. Would not recommend after my encounters with the staff but the campsites were also way too close and position oddly. Bathrooms not stocked or cleaned. There’s better out there.

I would not recommend this site. The campground was close enough to all the activities we planned but I suspect there was a staffing problem and no maintenance had been done. Don't plan on using the bathroom.
