Restrooms could be kept cleaner, but for the cost and the fact that it has many spots right on the water (beaver lake), that's not going to stop me from staying at this park as often as I can! I love living on the lake, even if it is only for a short time.

Site #54 If you want seclusion this campground is it. We have a 38’ Class A diesel and had no problem getting into the site. However I did guide my husband. He had to back in from the road up a hill around a tree and pretty far down a narrow drive. I can see why some reviews were negative but if your experienced it is no problem. Our site was peaceful.

First, the good, the camp hosts were fabulous, helpful and friendly. We appreciated them so much, and they did what they could do to make a difficult situation better.
Now, for the not so good. We didn't arrive until after check-in time, but our site was still occupied. The family was very apologetic, and we understood they had some issues causing them to be delayed. They tried their best, but we still waited till about 5:30, and there was no where to easily wait with a 42' rig. Another rig was also waiting as the delay on his site was related to the delay on our site.
After seeing our site, #66 (let this be a warning), we saw there was no way we could occupy it anyway! There were numerous, large, metal pipes to keep you from going in the ditch, and these were set about the width of our rig. Just ahead, where we would have needed the room to maneuver, there were 4 vehicles parked around the rig in their spot, so no wiggle room at all. Everyone would have had to move all their cars. Even an expert would not have been able to get in the spot. Also, there is NO WATER at spot #66! Trust us, only a small rig would fit in it.
We were truly blessed, and our trip was rescued by the nicest of campers, the man waiting for the other spot suggested we just switch with him. He had a small camper, and was able to maneuver easily into it. We shared what was to be his water, and it all worked fine. He was our angel, and we appreciated him so much. God bless you Todd!

Needed mowing. Never saw a cleaning person. Fire pits needed cleaning out. Need to find someway to open the “island” camp spots! They have not been open in June in several years. Why did you build them if you can’t use them?

We always enjoy our visits here. Even with the camp grounds mostly full, it feels reasonably secluded. The attendants are always kind and the area clean.

The park was well maintained. We had loads of shade and a fantastic breeze coming off the lake. It was our first time camping in this park, but we will definitely return.

Bathrooms were very small with insufficient toilets and showers for the number camping in the area. They were poorly ventilated and frequently wet/dirty. High water prevented use of beaches but we were able to swim near camp sites. Campsites were heavily littered with twigs, gravel (not expecting perfectly clear but at least some clean up of debris from winter. Some roads were broken up at the edges making dangerous footing for the inattentive, particularly on hilly campsites. We had great family time but lamented the condition of campsite.

We stayed 5 nights in our 36’ Class A. Originally had site 36 but due to flooding, we landed on site 7. Shared water, which was fine and power was fine. Easy dump station access. Our lot was a double lot so a bit more but it was wonderfully wooded and quiet. My only concern was that MANY people (mostly those towing boats) were driving WAY too fast on main road. Lots of kids on bikes and maybe some speed bumps would prevent a disaster. Lovely park!
