It was a beautiful campground. Nice location. Great price! The negative is there was no one to guide or direct us to our site, not enough signs were available to indicate where our actual site was which caused us to drive with the big rig all over, then to get out and walk to look for our numbered site, just so easily avoidable with a couple strategically placed signs. When originally reserving the site, it wasn’t clear if there was water hookup available or not. I saw a Facebook post where someone complained they had no water hookups at a campground near where this park was so I went back to look at the one grainy photo and couldn’t tell. So I called and was informed no, no water hookups, but at least it was accessible on various locations throughout the campground. Had I not made that call, it would have created even further frustration at the onset. I don’t blame the staff and volunteers for that, I blame the federal govt for not utilizing some fantastic programs other campgrounds use to make sure all info a camper needs is easily obtained prior to reservations.

We had a great time. Horseshoe Bend is just a few miles from home so we could relax and still be close to the real world. If it’s your first visit, be sure to visit Downtown Rogers and grab a chicken dinner at the Monte Ne Inn, on the way to the park.

We really enjoyed our stay there.

Policies & Rules
Arrival & departure
- Check in with the camp host at 4:00 PM and check out by 1:00 PM.
Site capacity
- Each campsite can have either one RV and one tent or three tents.
- Camping is limited to 14 days within any 30-day period without special permission.
Vehicles & parking
- Parking on the grass is not allowed.
- Off-road vehicles and golf carts are not allowed.
Safety & rules
- Dumping waste is prohibited; use the dump station or remove waste. Shower and bathroom tents are not allowed.
Fees & deposits
- Non-campers must pay a $5 area use fee per vehicle and display the receipt.
Pets
- Pets must be leashed, caged, or penned, and cannot be left unattended at campsites. Owners must clean up after their pets.
Fires & fuel
- Do not move firewood; buy it locally and burn it on-site to protect forests.
Wildlife & food storage
- Prevent invasive species by cleaning gear before and after your visit and properly disposing of organic waste.
