We had to be moved to this spot due to an electrical issue with our original reserved spot. This spot overlooks the boat ramp, so every boat that launches or comes in goes by this site. However, this makes an excellent spot for people watchers. We have a toy hauler, and we were able to open the back up and sit on the "deck" overlooking the water. We waived at people going by. The site is a bit small for large campers (ours is 28'), and we just barely parked our 2 vehicles side by side in front of the camper. We were able to park our bass boat on the side, but it was tight. This is a popular spot that we have not had the opportunity to reserve, so this chance allowed us to confirm that we would enjoy this spot and will try to book it if we can.

We really like this spot. It is very close to the bathrooms. It has spacious parking for guests or watercraft. Across the roadway is a huge open area that leads down to the water, and behind the bathrooms. Great place to walk your pet. Also a good place to pull up a boat instead of taking it in and out. Only trouble is you have traffic on both ends since it is in the middle of the loop.

Nice park. Many sites are not large rv friendly. Hard to get into.

It was good except the bathrooms needed cleaning.

The actual campsite was nice - pretty views of the lake and beach area and adequate room. However, the closest bathroom had no heat (the lows were in the 20s our first night so this was quite important!) and there were several other guests who had no concept of their noise levels. There was a kid who rode his dirt bike around the entire campground nonstop one day. One site operated power tools until 10 pm one night. Others used leaf blowers around their sites. It was annoying and did not lend itself to a relaxing camp experience. The worst part? There's no one to report these incidences to!

Lovely campground, great trails in the area, close enough to Hot Springs National Park for checking out the springs easily.
