Beautiful location. There was no-one working the gate-house. Just pick up a card, write your info on it and go to your reserved site. We never had any interaction with the campground Host.
Please read each site description carefully. Many of the sites, while they may be "close" to level left to right, may have a very pronounced slope to the site. For many that may create big problems in getting level.

Site was very clean and level. Entire area was clean and leaves were kept blown away. Bathroom and showers were very clean and stocked well.

It is a little off of the main highway but worth it. Absolutely beautiful!

I love the campground itself. I don’t feel like they should allow 6 campsites to be taken over by hunters and 11 dogs that cry and howl while unattended. Nor should they be allowed to gut deer in the campsites. Not a pleasant experience.

Guess photos are deceptive. Space appeared to have more trees and spacious in photos on-line. 110 service did not work on power pole. It wouldn't have necessarily been a problem but, we lost power in our outlets in the trailer and had no other source of 110 power.

Loud party until 3:00 am. Hosts said we would have to talk to rangers. Ranger said call the office but office is closed on weekends. No recourse. Park and grounds very clean as were sites. Some sites very difficult to park in because of trees and narrow roads with dropoffs on edges

Gorgeous campground with many sites being right on the water. AT&T coverage was decent. Site was level and easy to back into. Did not use bathhouses so I can’t comment on those.
Campground is right in between the cities of Mt. Ida and Hot Springs so plenty of things to do if you want to explore smaller cities or towns. Mt. Ida is known for its abundance of crystals and crystal mining so if that’s something you’re into it is well worth checking out.
