So very clean! Park Rangers extremely nice and helpful. The sweet lady from Denny Point that checked us in was delightful.

Nice camp on beautiful Lake Ouachita. Plenty of water access from campsites to rocky beaches that are good for swimming. Great lake for kayaking and motorized water sports, with both secluded coves and plenty of open water. Campground is well maintained with clean facilities. Camp hosts are courteous and helpful.

Crystal Springs is just an overall great campground on one of the most beautiful lakes in the country. Hosts are friendly and sites are kept clean.

What I loved was being able to dock my boat right in front of my campsite for the whole time. The site was large enough to enjoy the room.

Safe site, beautiful location. I liked the secure bathroom. Only camp to overnight camp, and hope to come again to visit longer.

Crystal Springs is one of our favorites. This particular campsite though (#10) has a few flaws that you should be prepared for:
1. The site is not level, rather it is high in the rear of your camper. Therefore, you have to really elevate the nose/front of your camper to achieve level front to rear. The pad is also LOW on the door side of your camper, so you will need to block up under the tires on that side, which also means your steps are going to be elevated a bit higher than normal. It isn't terrible, but it is pretty far from a level site.
2. The power and water are 30 plus feet from the rear of your camper, maybe 35. Again, not a huge problem but in our case we had to set up a good bit forward of where we would have preferred in order for our power cable to reach.
The good points are:
1. Close to the bath house.
2. Nice shade trees in the morning and afternoons.
Hope this helps you to at least be prepared if you find yourself at this #10 campsite. Again, it isn't really that bad, but you best be prepared before you get there and all will be well for your setup

We live right down the road in Hot Springs, but if you've never camped on Lake Ouachita, you really should. Great campground, great water.
