Such a great site right on the lake. This site is best for self contained campers because the bathroom is somewhat far away. However, not a deal breaker as you can always just drive to it or take a stroll.

We have gone to Crystal Springs two years in a row. No matter what spot you have it has great views. Bathrooms and campsite are very clean. You do have Internet. And it’s great to be able to access the water sometimes even right from your campsite. You are only about 25 minutes away from Hot Springs and so close to so many waterfalls and springs to explore and swim in. The dollar store is not too far away and if it’s important to you, the liquor store is right around the corner. Lol.

Very enjoyable camping spot. Beautiful lake, many people had their boats tied to shore next to their site. Nice swimming area with sandy beach. Would definitely recommend!

The spaces and the park are well maintained. I was worried about choosing a bad spot on the online map, but there are not any bad spots. This park is wonderful. The restrooms and showers are well maintained. We truly enjoyed this park and appreciate the staff that make it wonderful.

Absolutely beautiful campground with gorgeous views of the lake and mountains. Perfect for kayaking, swimming, and biking. The only downside was the bathrooms and shower facilities weren’t the best.

As a young boy I lived about a 200 yards North of our campsite. So I am somewhat prejudiced. I love Lake Ouachita. One place you need to visit if you have time is Hickory Nut Mountain. From there you have a view of the entire lake. But for the experience of a lifetime, rent a boat and spend the day on the lake weaving in and around the nearly two hundred, tree covered islands. Or take your tent with you and spend the night on one of those islands. It is a great way to get back to nature . . .

We have always enjoyed Crystal Springs. It’s quiet, shaded, and plenty of things to do on the lake.
