We enjoyed the views and the great hosts at White Rock Mountain.
Lessons learned were:
Get gas before leaving I-40.
Print a detailed map showing the best route from where the blacktop ends to the campground. Google and GPS will send you all over the dirt roads.
Summer time in Arkansas = ticks and poison ivy and there are no showers to wash it off so bring cleaning wipes that will remove the oils.
I would like to return in the fall if the roads are good.

The trails are excellent. The views are magnificent. We enjoyed two days stay in the White Rock Mountain and hope next time can stayed longer for hiking. We cooked in the cabin, and made wonderful meals, the kitchen was fully equipped with pots and pans.
