We had an upper campsite overlooking the reservoir. It was a beautiful view and the campsites are well spaced. The showers require quarters but the water is hot.

We spent 4 nights during springtime. The lake was full & bright green grass is growing right up to the waters edge. No sites have easy lake access since the campground is above the lake. Very few other campers so it was very quiet. Many campsites have a clear view of the lake so you can stargaze at night over the water with a front row view. Bathrooms were cleaned daily. Water spigots were not far away. We will definitely be back

It definitely is a somewhat far walk from the bathroom. So be prepared for that!
Also, you should bring a wagon or some type of cart with wheels to help haul over your camping gear... especially if you're carrying a lot with you.
I thought I'd be able to walk down to the lake from my campsite, but unfortunately it's waaay too steep and the grass is a bit too high- don't want the risk of getting any ticks or unknown bugs on me! So it's a bit risky and dangerous attempting to walk down to the lake. I just ended up driving over to the closest day use area to go into the lake, which is not a far drive at all- maybe a 1 to 2 minute drive.
Overall, it's a beautiful campsite. I had that place all to myself, which was peaceful. The other walk-in campsites are all close together, so it was great that I had no other neighbors. If I did, I probably would not be as comfortable.
Would I stay at that campsite again? Probably not.

Stayed in spot 119. Our smaller trailer was a tight fit I. The spot for sure. Looks like most spots are very narrow. Ours also was down a hill to the fire pit and picnic table. The bathroom was very clean and nice to have. During the week there were not many staying. The dumping station was not open though. Over all it was a nice clean camping spot.

We had a great time camping with our group of friends in our teardrop trailers. We were in site 16 and the bathrooms were clean but the men's shower didn't have a shower head. It was windy and the power went out later that day and the ranger locked the bathroom doors one hour after the power went out, So I went and talked to the camp host and he said they do the when the power goes out and to use the outhouse. Our bathroom didn't have a outhouse and the ranger didn't come to unlock the bathroom until an hour after the power came back on. Other than that we had a great time and will be back next March with our group.
