The bathroom wasn’t as clean as the other side in Glory Hole. The bathroom door needs to be updated. You can literally see the person inside even with the door close. Especially when showering and trying to change. Other than that love the place.

Campground was very nice, clean and well maintained. The lake is beautiful and the roads are great for towing trailers and walking our dogs.

I was hoping for and expecting a specific campsite at New Melones...when I got there , there was a homeless family living in homeless conditions.. which made my plans of a quiet evening an impossibility. So i had to relocate...which was acceptable but an inconvenience..

Nice campsite with great views of reservoir. Woke up to deer outside which was lovely. Would stay again.

Unfortunately, every time I have stayed here the couple in the pop up tent trailer are there. I have left a review before, but no one seems to care. It would be a great peaceful experience if I did not have to stare at all of their junk, trash, and listen to the lady tell he 4, constantly barking dogs to " Shut Up!" at the top of her lungs. I really wish they would keep this place as a campground and not a trailer park for permanent residents.

Sort of an odd little campground as there’s a big boat storage opposite it but the campsite was nice and clean, lots of space, and a GORGEOUS view. There were quite a few rocks but luckily we had an air mattress. Definitely bring a thick sleeping pad or mattress.

Beautiful place this time of year (Nov) quiet and nice to walk around in the closed campground sections of the area. It looks as if they are doing their best to keep it up but there is definitely some deteriorating of some of the sites. Bathrooms are clean. If you enjoy spending time at this beautiful place right your federal govt. representatives and let them know that New Melones is much more than a water tank for those down river
