What Guests Are Saying
Cedar Bluff is praised for its beautiful camping location near the lake, friendly and accommodating camp hosts, and clean facilities. Many visitors enjoyed the spaciousness of their sites and the overall atmosphere, making it a great spot for family trips. However, some concerns were raised about the lack of bear boxes, limited amenities like showers, and issues with cleanliness in certain areas, which affected the experience for a few campers.

The campsite was clean and had flush bathrooms, very pretty lake, not a lot of people around, we had a great time.

Atrocious service, all sites covered with trash & tables were disgusting. Claimed only 2 sites available, but 1 out of 12 was occupied - the other site was camp on asphalt or a tiny tent site beside the fire ring, glad we chose #5, but it was on a slope. Charged an outrageous fee ($148 in November) for a tent site & when tried to contact the campground or recreation.gov received answering machine (during hours!). The neighboring house has hunting dogs in cages & they barked all night - so much that the only other camping site left by 8pm. Also, there was a fire on a neighboring ridge & extremely smokey - they should have closed the campsite.

Way tooo expensive!! It’s just a basic campground. We Made a reservation few days in advance because it seemed the only way to be able to stay there. On the website it looked almost full, but when we got there it was empty and the host told us that they also had space “first come first serve” at cheaper price. But we have already paid.
There were sign every where saying no pit fire in the campground and two girls behind us started a fire and the host didn’t saying anything. I’m not complain about the campground but $78 for a standard non electric spot ......way too much!!

Very nice and simple camp ground. No hook ups. Had my 40' class A in there. Not a lot of longer spaces, but not hard to maneuver around.

The site is near the lake and the bathrooms are usable but not super clean. The night we spent there there were some folks with loud music, generators and flashing lights, and yelling until late hours. I’m not sure if this is common there or if we just got lucky, but it wasn’t the most relaxing camping experience. All in all it was a nice weekend and the day at the lake was a lot of fun.
