What Guests Are Saying
Cedar Bluff is praised for its beautiful camping location near the lake, friendly and accommodating camp hosts, and clean facilities. Many visitors enjoyed the spaciousness of their sites and the overall atmosphere, making it a great spot for family trips. However, some concerns were raised about the lack of bear boxes, limited amenities like showers, and issues with cleanliness in certain areas, which affected the experience for a few campers.

We had a great time. The camp host was very friendly and answered all our questions kindly. The sites and restrooms were very clean at all times. Site #20 was perfect as it is secluded from other sites and there is a game trail that runs right behind it. Every day, in the late afternoon, we saw deer, wild turkeys, and quail work their way down to the lake right next to the site. Our kids were delighted with the experience.

There are no showers here. There are no pumps for water. The campsite is rocky. And the directions to the site are useless. I will never return here.

We have been coming to Bass Lake for almost 40 years. Its a family tradition and our grown children now join us there!

Great facility. Only issue was how early we were asked to stop making noise. We were not even loud.

In fairness - we booked this campground on the 4th of July, not realizing the local community does a fireworks show over Bass Lake for the holiday. The place was a zoo. I greatly appreciate the fact that rangers were blocking cars without reservations from coming into the campground to park. But I don't think the local team was prepared for the crowds. Every campsite was booked and most had huge groups. The toilets were overrun with use and completely trashed. There was significant foot traffic to/from the lake and folks were cutting through camp sites to get to their destination.
