Not my first time in this campground and it won’t be the last. The area is beautiful. Some sites are great for RVs, while others not so much (too small, or without enough space on the door side for comfortable entry/exit.
The campground has no showers, so that will be inconvenient if you are in a tent.

At my time of visit. All I can say is pure bliss. Beautiful.. peaceful. Quiet and serine. If permanent residency was available I'd be your neighbor.. coming back with the while family next time.

Beautiful campsite. Super clean bathroom. Spot 87 was great - a little sloped so I’d recommend shifting your tent so you’re comfortable. Temps dropped so we ended up sleeping in the car. I loved how close we were to the lake and how it has plenty of spots for photography and walking. Yosemite was a short drive up the 41 and there are plenty of hikes around the lake if you check AllTrails.
