We chose a great time of year to see the fall colors. Access to the forest roads were close and easy to find. We visited Shuteye Peak and the damp weather reduced the dust to nothing. There were a few hunters somewhat not paying attention to others on the road but other wise few visitors this time of year.

Clean and quiet camping. Our campground host, Annette, was friendly and helpful. She kept restrooms clean with plenty of TP and hand soap.

The campground was so nice and right by the lake. It is a little confusing in the dark because of lack of lights but we found our way. It is 30 minutes outside of Yosemite’s gates but an hour and half from Yosemite village. Overall great experience! Would camp here again!

Despite not being able to make a campfire. These sites and location has always been a great place to camp. Maybe next time a campfire will be permitted

We were fortunate to have arrived after the busy season and we were able to go Monday through Friday. Other than one other family, with the most well behaved kids I've ever met, we had the entire loop to ourselves. It is well maintained and staff was extremely friendly. We will be back!
