Camp hosts were fabulous, bathrooms clean and site (078) was good for our needs, if a bit uneven for tents. Checkin is 4 miles north, so drop load and drive up to office ASAP. Close to lake so weekend party boaters and day users were loud, left alot of garbage and were not abiding by COVID-19 social distancing and mask wearing requirements. Monday was perfect, able to find a spot by ourselves by the water, and campers were quieter after 10pm. Being 1.5 hours from Yosemite Valley a HUGE plus.

We loved this site. I had a wonderful experience here at bass lake. The campsite was evenly spaced between guests. The campground manager was very nice and helpful. I will definitely come back to this site and this lake. Amazing place to visit.

Great experience, the site was clean and had a couple spots to set up camp. We arrived at night, which made it a bit difficult to find our spot, but that would be the same anywhere. It did feel like the camp sites were pretty close to each other, which is the only reason this isn't 5 stars.

Great location. Quick drive to Yosemite. Loved riding rented electric bikes from the marina down the road.
