Great site every year! Just make sure you buy your firewood from the camp host before the curfew - she did not let up and was not nice.

We love camping at Spring Cove, we go every year. It’s close to Miller’s Landing and some beaches to hang out at. The bathrooms are clean and well stocked. Bass Lake is our favorite lake in California. We travel from Monterey with our small child to camp and swim and enjoy the lake. We always jetski and spend hours swimming in the warm water. I recommend Spring Cove for a quiet, family friendly campsite that offers a lot of shade (some sites are very sunny so do you your research) clean restrooms and close to Miller’s Landing which has a store, home style food, and showers which are fairly clean.

I’ve been staying at Spring Cove for 16 years, never disappoints. Beautiful scenery, right across the street from late, nice bathrooms. Several little loops that are cool for multiple families that want to camp near each other. We typically see deer, turkey’s and lots of birds.

The campsite host two years straight have been rude. Yelling at other grown adults on vacation concerning simple things first time campers would not know. Last year yelling about parking. This year about accident driving in the wrong direction. I thought when we paid to camp we we’re appreciated guest but no here.

Everything was very nice. One thing was new to us as veteran campers. We invited two family members to share our campfire for a couple of hours. The camp host came by and our guests had to pay for parking. We've done the same in the past and never had to pay for parking. It makes sense but it was a new rule for us. Just a heads up on that one!

Pleasant campground across from Bass Lake just outside of Oakhurst. Fairly short drive from there to the south entrance of Yosemite National Park, although it is a fairly long drive from there to the valley. The campsite is pretty and I appreciated the amenities such as flush toilets and running water. I just wished that the campsites themselves had more space between campsites; they were fairly close together and you could hear your neighbors a bit too well. But if you’re looking for affordable camping accommodations fairly close to Yosemite I would recommend this campsite.

We had a great time at the lake. Be sure to bring a pop up canopy for shade and water toys.
