Level, roomy site with good shade and walking distance to a nice beach/cove. Bring disposable Yellowjacket traps if you’re cooking in camp!

We've been camping here our entire lives and decided to try a new lot number. We chose #53 because it was near a bathroom and was a larger space.
Our spot was very spacious, in a great area, nice shade and very short walk to the lake (across the street). There are a few issues; there was a dumpster practically in our space and it was used very often all day and night- and it was very loud. There's also a lot of weeds and bushes not being kept up with and they were in our way of the firepit and path into our campsite. The bathrooms were also an issue because the water in the faucets weren't working, or the stall itself would be locked and unusable. It's still a very nice space and would recommend to anyone!

great location. Site was on the small side but worked well. Kept clean and close to the lake.

The camp hosts were very helpful and upheld excellent customer service.. They we attentive and also made sure the restrooms were serviced each day. Campsite is nice, clean, and very easy to get to. The lake and day use picnic areas were right across the street from the campsite. Friendly and happy fellow campers respected the site rules. I had decent reception (AT&T) on my cell phone. We booked 2 campsites - #9 and #6. Site 6 doesn't have much shade, but it was spaced away from other sites therefore provided good privacy. It is a very large site. Site 9 had the best shade the entire day, but we were only able to put in two tents there (possible three could fit). Site 9 and 6 are connected via a small walkway. If you have a large group and need two sites, I recommend #9 and #6. We used #9 as the site to gather around and socialize. I would definitely come back to this campground without hesitation. Also the Lake water was clear and warm.

The campground was lovely! The sites are well spread and well shaded. All are walking distance to the lake. Clean bathrooms and drinking water. Nice camp host. I will be back and will take any site available in the future as they are all winners. The campground and all surrounding areas, including the lake and trails, are also very dog friendly. Our pups loved it.
And for those that know about the “meat bees,” there weren’t any! (When I went 15 years prior, there were pesky bees)

When we arrived to our site it was overgrown with weeds, it wasn’t until around our 3rd or 4th day that someone came and weed whacked around the restroom and around the dumpster where we were camped but we had to cut down our own weeds in the campsite.
