Camp hosts were amazing.

I really enjoy campground. If you have solar I highly suggest you book a spot that has a good clearing. The camp hosts have all been wonderful. The only thing I would recommend improvement on is cutting back the low hanging branches that scrape the top of RV’s on the roads around site 26.

This is a great location in southern Big Sur. During my stay hwy 1 was closed a few miles north of the campground so there was very little traffic which made it quiet and delightful. Great access to the beach and bluff trails. I found the camp host to be very friendly and helpful and all other campers were quiet and respectful. I would definitely go back before the highway opens up.

So much fun! Host was super kind and helpful and the bathroom on sight were clean.

My firewood and hatchet got stole the first day when I was out. People suggested Iinform the camp host. She had a notion who it might be so I asked that person if he actually saw anyone take the wood. He described the car which led me to the campsite where the wood was. The man was very apologetic and returned wood and hatchet. I went to tell the host about the turn around and mentioned that if the host still clipped the names and dates on each camp site post, maybe this wouldn’t have happened. She immediately got angry and said I was wasting her “time off” (7:15 in the evening). The next day I left a note that I would return to my reserved campsite that night. When I returned, the note was gone and so was the wood. I always thought a host was available at all times.Evidently not! BTW, the outhouses were sparkling
