Has it been a decade since the bathrooms had a working sink and soap at Plaskett?

Great campground, about a 5 minute walk from the beach. Most of the campsites are in a large central meadow area, where there are no bushes and few trees to separate the individual sites, so there is a bit of a lack of privacy, but the sites are plenty big, and the remaining campsites around the perimeter of the meadow are shaded and a little more secluded. The camp hosts were extremely friendly, helpful, and hard working. The bathrooms were constantly cleaned, and the whole campground was immaculate. The hosts charged a bit more for firewood than I expected, but I didn’t mind paying for it since they clearly worked so hard and it was good to support them. The campground was dog friendly and children friendly, but wasn’t primarily a family camp. Most people camping were younger active people- lots of wetsuits hanging up on clotheslines at the end of the day, and surfboards and kayaks on most vehicles. Also, less trailers and campers, the younger crowd mainly slept in tents. Also, I think because it was more of an active crowd, people seemed to get up early and go to bed early- we didn’t experience a lot of noise from late-night revelers.
No showers, but there are flush toilets and water spigots.

As always this is the most relaxing camping site we visit. Sounds of the ocean all night while we sleep. That early a.m. ocean fog rolling over the hills most mornings is absolutely perfect. We spent an entire week here and I can say we would have spent 2 if we had the time off. We visited jade cove beach which is close proximity and it’s wonderful. We will be back next year!
