it was pretty cold but the area is super shaded so can see that it would be the perfect camp spot during the hotter summer weather. bathrooms were clean which was a plus! running water unfortunately had traces of ecoli due to the rainfall so do bring lots of water or expect to boil it before usage.
hosts were extremely nice and helpful!

Beautiful, peaceful campsite! I loved the proximity to some of the most beautiful sections of Big Sur. The bathrooms were very clean but the sinks were blocked off due to E.coli in the water, so plan to bring enough clean water for drinking, cooking, hand-washing, and dish cleaning. I would also recommend bringing your own firewood to avoid spending $15 buying from the camp host. Site 013 is against the mountainside, so it was a bit more quiet and private than the campsites in the middle. It was not a huge issue, but the picnic table on the site is on a slope so just be cautious with items rolling off the table. I will definitely be back to Plaskett Creek in the future!

We love this campground and had a nice time. The camp host and their manager were super helpful - we were arriving late and emailed the facility, and the manager reached out to the host within minutes to inform them. That was really awesome and helped. The $50 / night is a little steep given the sinks aren't working.

I have been camping here for over 50 years. I just keep coming back. The campground is mostly tents, but there are a few small motorhomes. The camp hosts were excellent. The only odd thing was that the sinks in the restrooms were bagged off and unusable, but after consideration that is a positive thing. No one lingers washing their face and brushing their teeth while people are waiting to use the toilets. Maybe parks management should just remove the sinks entirely.
