Beautiful campground, will absolutely come back.
Pros:
-PCH is still closed a few miles north of here so there is very little traffic
-2 min walk to Sand Dollar Beach
-Clean, quiet
-Flush Toilets, potable water, trash+recycling cans
Cons
-no sinks or camp sinks
-very busy all the time (I went in late november)
-you have to come from the south (as of 2023)

Cute campsite! Although I truly wish large families would refrain from playing loud music. Not everyone wants to hear it and we all choose nature and camping for different reasons. I wish people were more respectful to other campers nearby in regards to noise levels, regardless of the time of day.

We love camping at this park. Although the trail down to Sand Dollar beach had a portion that was heavily eroded, we were able to make it down. We are thankful that the bathrooms have been repaired. We love that the National Forest park is more dog friendly than some of the State Parks, and that there are trails where we can walk with her.
