First - the weather was perfect. It was a nice drive up from where we live in SLO County. The campground was quiet and serene - just what we needed for a few days of rest and reading. It was nice to ride my bike to the end of the road without any traffic. The campground hosts were nice, bathrooms clean; it was a great time to be at Placket.

This campground is by far one of my favorites, no wonder it’s so hard to get a reservation. Not only is it located in one of the most beautiful parts of the world, Big Sur, it is right across highway 1 from a beach. The campsite also had amazing hosts, Molly and Jeff. They are were super friendly and I can’t thank them enough for jumping my car when the battery died. 10/10 experience!
