Our campsite was sloped - clearly for RVs not tents - it was next to the portopotty and smelled terrible and the whole campsite is right by Hwy 1 and loud with traffic noise. I would not camp here again.

The most clean and friendly campground I've ever stayed. Felt comfortable and safe the whole time. Being close to San Dollar beach made it easy to hike around the bluffs overlooking the beach and get totally refreshed by the sea breeze.
Night temperatures never being too cold, along with the sound of waves breaking on the beach made for a great night sleep.
A few good hiking trails nearby, Plaskett Creek Rd is a good hike for view, Salmon Creek and Cone Peak are other nearby
hiking trails completely worth the climbing effort.

Beautiful camp ground, quiet and roomy. The beach just across the street is magical.
