What Guests Are Saying
Four Jeffrey Campground offers a beautiful and clean camping experience, with well-maintained facilities and friendly, attentive hosts. The campground is praised for its immaculate bathrooms and helpful camp managers, making it an excellent choice for acclimating before heading into the wilderness. While some sites lack shade and bugs can be an issue, the overall atmosphere, scenic surroundings, and access to hiking trails make it a highly recommended destination for campers.

We stayed at Four Jeffrey campground for a week in August, 2021. We stay at this campground almost every year and felt the need to give a review this year. The camp hosts, Don and Betty were wonderful! They took meticulous care of the bathrooms and made regular rounds to make sure everyone was safe. There were bears in the area and they made sure we all knew the rules to keep our campsites safe ( use bear lockers, no food items or toiletries in tents, dispose of trash, etc). Then when there were bears active in the campgrounds, they were there with air horns if needed to keep both campers and bears safe. We really appreciate all they did and their friendly attitudes.

A nice clean, open, uncrowded campground at close to 7,750'. Few trees or shade. Potential fishing spots up the road. A small store and restaurant at nearby Bishop Park. Friendly campground managers.

Great campground and very friendly and helpful camp hosts - they clearly have take pride in providing a comfortable environment. Stayed two nights, 7/30th-31st. Very clean restrooms. They also shared where in camp cell coverage was most likely. I was able to text freely at my campsite, #9. This is probably the largest campsite in camp with plenty of room for several tents.

The campsite and bathrooms were clean and well maintained. The crowd that comes here can be loud and disrespectful i.e. staying up late, blasting music, using bright lights and laser pointers. This is not a place for peace and quiet, it is more for larger families.

I stayed 6 nights and thorougly enjoyed my visit. The campground is well maintained and is well-run. Campground hosts Donny and Betty were absolutely wonderful and diligent. Bathrooms were sparkling. Campground is quiet with plenty of room between sites for privacy.
