What Guests Are Saying
Four Jeffrey Campground offers a beautiful and clean camping experience, with well-maintained facilities and friendly, attentive hosts. The campground is praised for its immaculate bathrooms and helpful camp managers, making it an excellent choice for acclimating before heading into the wilderness. While some sites lack shade and bugs can be an issue, the overall atmosphere, scenic surroundings, and access to hiking trails make it a highly recommended destination for campers.

Stayed in one of the upper sites. Seems like most sites are not level. We pitched our tent in the longer parking area for the site because it was flatter there. Table was a bit beat up. Nice view. Bathroom was very clean and water was readily available. Nice to walk through the campground in the evening. Had I known over half the sites were vacant, I would have saved a lot of money by paying at the campground rather than on Recreation.gov

Sites were very nice and separated. Only complaint is that the bathrooms did not have hand dryers and with Covid 19 all bathrooms should have soap and a hand dryer.

There is an aggressive black bear that constantly visits this campground. The Camp Hosts are great, the problem has been reported but nothing is being done. I emailed California state park and didn't even get a reply. Us and other campers slept in our cars for safety, everyone was worried, this bear is not at all afraid of people. I had to drive the car in-between it and my partner when it looked like it would attack, it was about 6ft away. I will not visit this campground again
