What Guests Are Saying
Rock Creek Lake offers a stunning campground with beautiful views, plenty of hiking trails, and excellent opportunities for fishing and paddleboarding. The camp hosts, Jean and Luis, are highly praised for their friendliness and cleanliness, contributing to a welcoming atmosphere. While some sites require a walk to access facilities and mosquitoes can be a nuisance, many guests express a strong desire to return for the overall positive experience.

Beautiful campground, beautiful site, we got site 4, walkable distance to great fishing spots. Just make sure you’re up early to get the best spot :) seems like live bait worked best for other campers, we used powerbait which didn’t work too well. The walk to camp was not bad at all. Happy Camping :)

This is my second time staying at Rock Creek Lake in the past month! First off want to say that the camp hosts here are EVERYTHING! Luis and Jean are amazing at what they do.
A few weeks ago we stayed at the Group Site and it was like a mini paradise! Our only complaint was that the bathroom situation was awful. They say they are going to fix the public restrooms but they haven’t and there’s no potable water there either. If the campground could fix this then it would be beyond perfect. Jean and Luis did an excellent job of letting us know where the porta potty’s were and making sure we had a jug to fill up.
We came back a few weeks later because we couldn’t stop dreaming of Rock Creek! Unfortunately there was a random storm that left our site flooded the first night and we had to sleep in the car.
The rest of the trip we did have rain off and on but nothing compared to the first night.
Rock creek lake is absolutely lovely. The grounds are well kept, the lake has several access points perfect for kayaking, paddle boarding and fishing. The camp hosts thoroughly clean each site upon checking in. Their warm friendly smile and personality makes you want to come back again and again. Rock creek leaves you feeling like family!
