Great location for hiking with your leashed dog. We went over July 4th weekend, so it was busier than normal, but not out of control. Spectacular hikes in the area. Cold lake water, too cold to swim for long. Our large campground had one male and one female pit toilet located a loooooong long long walk from our site. It was literally at one end of the campground and about an 8 minute DRIVE from where our tent was. So bring your own makeshift toilet to avoid impacting the campground in your area.
