Campground host is the best! Very tidy sites and rest rooms, Friendly and thorough. Incredible views of the Sawtooths. Some sites are close to the road, and the road does get quite a bit of traffic heading up to Twin Lakes -- but traffic does quiet down in the evening.

The campground is quiet, beautiful, and well kept. Although there are only vault toilets, they are well looked after. The proximity to both Lower and Upper Twin Lakes is great.

I have stayed in this campground a number of times over the years. It is kept very clean. The camphost needs some improvement. HIs campsite was an eyesore, vehicles, tents, storage areas sprawling over the entire area and beyond. The camphost never greeted us. He seemed to spend most of the time inside one of his trailers doing welding (?). I stopped by three times to ask questions, but he wasn't there/available. In addition, he raced around the campground in his extremely loud golf cart beginning at 7:00a.m. At first I thought these might be urgent situations, but over the three days we were there, this was constant. I didn't know carts could go so fast, maybe it was modified. But a very bad example to campers of speeding around the campground.

This was the cleanest best maintained campground I have stayed at. The host clearly has passion for his job. You can see it at every site.

Great spot! The host was welcoming and kept the toilets very clean!
There wasn’t a lot of shade at our campsite, so I would recommend bringing some sort of tarp or canopy. It was cloudy/overcast most of the time we were there so it wasn’t necessary for us. Will definitely try to come back!
