5 of us stayed at Lower honeymoon flat campground site#4. Reservations were for August 18th-21, sadly we had to evacuate due to the Hillary hurricane that came to visit. I would like to receive a refund for the days that we did not stay. But that's still up in the air. Besides this Campground was beautiful. Can see deers and shooting stars at night. Has a river stream that runs near and clear water. Can vary from knees to 5ft deep. There is a TON of MOSQUITOES so bring repellent and Cantonilla candles. Weather was drizzling, hot, cold at night and fresh. The host Dan informed us of the weather, camp rules and so far no bears. And would like to keep it that way so put food away. Also their is a water spot by restrooms. Can be used for washing and showering so bring a bucket. Not for drinking. Vault Toilets. Which are where your waste fall in the hole but has a toilet seat and paper and are well maintained and cleaned by host. Have any other questions ask Dan. Information about site#4. Location between site 1, 3 and right behind host. Clean and well maintained. Include a circle firepit, grill, picnic table for 6people, bearbox with measurements I'm guessing are length4ft, width2ft, and height3ft. We were able to fit 2 medium size Ice chest with grocery bags around. Has a tentpad that is a square filled with compacted sand. We were only able to fit a 6preson tent. We located our 2nd 2preson tent on the gravel driveway. Driveway is made of gravel and can fit two 6ft bed trucks. There is a ton of trees to give shade. Can bring your own fire wood. Activities drive to mammoth lake at is a hour away not far for me. Go to Twin Lakes Mono village Which is on the right hand side coming out of the campground. To fish, swim, ride boats, Kayak, or paddle board. Need a fishing license. Need to shower or buy ice. Village provides

The camp ground was amazing. We had a great week. Beautiful surroundings, very clean, perfect weather and can’t say enough about Dan the camp host, he’s the most gracious, kind person. We had trouble with our generator and he not only spent his time trying to help us fix it but he let us borrow his to charge our rv up. We even decided to stay another night! We will definitely be coming back and looking forward to seeing Dan again.

Dan was exceptional! The best campsite manager ever!
The fishing was excellent!
Because of the unprecedented amount of snow this past year, prepare for an invasion of all sorts of insects..
