Lower Twin Lakes at Bridgeport is praised for its exceptional cleanliness, attentive camp host Terrie, and beautiful location, making it a favorite among campers. The campground offers a peaceful atmosphere with proximity to a creek and lake, enhancing the overall experience. However, some concerns include close campsite proximity and occasional maintenance issues with the restrooms, as well as the need for better bear safety education.

Beautiful place. Not busy at all. Perfect for relaxing. Eventhough is close to the creek and a mini-swamp, mosquitoes were inexistant (last week of July)

Terrible experience and will never try camping here again. They gave away our campsite because we showed up a day late (that happens when your road tripping sometimes) even though we called and left a message for the campground letting them know our arrival date and approximate timing. Check your messages and honor your bookings!!!
When we arrived, the campground host was unhelpful, grouchy, rude, and essentially called me a liar in a rebuttal for why they gave away our site. She advised us (me, my husband and two young kids) to work it out on our own with the new person who was in our site and then shut her trailer door on us - it was only 5pm. I’ve never had that kind of experience at a campground. So incredibly rude.
What I’d really is my money back for the site I didn’t get to use and for the campground host to be fired! She was the worst and ruined this campground for me.

Clean and beautiful campground. The campground was within walking distance to Lower Twin Lake, which was a bonus. I believe all campsites sit along Robinson creek. It’s a nice central location for fishing and hiking in the area.

We absolutely love the Twin Lakes area and have been coming up here for the past 36 years. My grandparents turned my family on to this area and I now bring my children here to relive the same memories. The campground host at Lower Twin Lakes, Terri, is a delight and takes impeccable care of the campground. The bathrooms are immaculate, sites and fire rings cleaned and grounds raked. She is always available and her charismatic welcoming personality makes you feel right at home. She really goes above and beyond and we look forward to seeing her each year! Really, no better place to be and no better host around!

Beautiful campground! Parking is about 20 feet from the camp which is great. Pavement where the picnic table is at plus the fire pit makes it great! We seen deers come and go all week long. The creek is cool! No fish but still beautiful. We stayed at 14. 13-15 are all together so if you wanted to book any of those 3 for groups, do that!
14 seems to be the biggest out of all three. But all three are great! Would recommend to anyone! No service (Verizon) but it’s okay, more family bonding! They have open showers down the road at the RV park for $3-7 minutes, go to the Marina to get quarters. They also have a laundry mat right next to the showers so it’s definitely convenient. Camp host was great, bathrooms are good, no sink but they have hand wash outside.

I’ve been to Twin Lakes, Mammoth Lakes, Tuff campground and New shady campground and this one is one of my top two! Little do it in town which is Bridgeport, CA but the lake is beautiful and we’ve seen some people catch 7-10lb fish.

Overall, I would say 5 out 5. Would definitely recommend to anyone of all ages. My family and I are definitely going to book here in the future.
