Excellent, small campground that sits right along the river. I believe sites 6-11 are on the better side of the campground. It’s a very short walk to the lake. Be sure to use the food lockers because there are a lot of brave little critters about. The surrounding areas are truly beautiful. Looking forward to returning soon.

Excellent stay!
Covid compliant.
The Camp Hosts Mike and Sandy were excellent! The bathrooms were immaculate! They were cleaned and disinfected 3 times a day.
They were professional, helpful, knowledgeable, and informative of the surrounding area, and we enjoyed their suggestions for fishing and hiking.
Downside is this campground is it doesn’t have any cell coverage, as well as the southern part of the campgrounds the campers access water pipe was broken several years ago. This still hasn’t been repaired, so be prepared to lug your water, which gets harder the older you get!

Clean bathrooms, relatively quiet camp sites in a lovely location. Lack of cell/internet a plus for us. Excellent jumping off point for backpacking.

Lower Twin Lakes campground was an absolute beautiful place! We stayed at campsite 13, right next to the stream. The sound of the water was relaxing and the backdrop was gorgeous. Bathrooms were kept immaculate and campsite was free of trash. The site host Mike and his wife were so personable and provided great information, we enjoyed talking with them. We will definitely be going back!

The camp managers were personable and checked in to see how things were going throughout our 12 day stay. Absolutely loved the area; especially because our campsite was right on Robinson Creek. So many people were catching fish! The Bridgeport fireworks were the best fireworks display we had ever seen, plus the view of the full
Moon. A trip we will never forget!

Fishing was good in the stream which ran through the campground.
There were bears in the summer of 2019 so make sure and use the bear boxes to store your food and anything with scent!

View of the lake is absolutely gorgeous! Quiet and clean campground with beautiful views of the valley from each site. Coming from Canada it seemed the check-in operates differently as we didn't encounter any park or grounds staff to formally check off our arrival/departure. This left us feeling a little unsettled, however we soon got the gist that this is pretty normal for most campgrounds we visited and the hosts were always knowledgable and welcoming! Would come back to Twin Lakes over and over!
