What Guests Are Saying
Convict Lake Campground offers a stunning location with beautiful views, clean facilities, and friendly hosts, making it an ideal spot for both short stopovers and extended stays. The campground is well-maintained, with daily bathroom cleaning and convenient amenities like firewood sales and a nearby store. However, many sites lack shade and privacy, and bear encounters can be an issue, particularly for campers with food safety concerns. Overall, visitors appreciate the serene environment and recreational opportunities available in this picturesque area.

Clean campground. Clean restrooms. Very friendly hosts. Close to the lake. I strictly went to camp and fish, both were great.

We’ve been camping at Convict Lake for over 40 years, we’re now bringing our Grandchildren. Convict Lake is always well kept by the camp hosts. We will continue to visit & camp there.

Beautiful scenery. The hosts were super friendly and helpful. Nearby dump station is clean and easy to use. Both times we were the only ones at the dump site.

Convict Lake campground is a popular, picturesque area, not far from Mammoth Mountain, CA. Easy access, not far off highway 395. A nice trail around the lake. Shore and boat fishing.

Definitely one of my favorite camping experiences. Did a hike, saw deer. Rented a boat for the afternoon, got a tan. Great time.
