What Guests Are Saying
Eshom Campground is praised for its beautiful, quiet setting with ample tree cover and a nearby creek, making it ideal for nature lovers. Campers appreciate the cleanliness of the restrooms, the informative camp host, and the overall peaceful atmosphere. However, access can be challenging, requiring vehicles with good clearance due to rough roads, and the campground is somewhat distant from major attractions like Sequoia National Park.

Great place--very remote but spectacularly beautiful, wild, and unspoilt. There's a creek that runs through the campground. It's lovely to hear it babbling away at night. The host, Terry, was fantastic: friendly, knowledgeable, and present. (Her dog Bailey was also a star!) I'll definitely be back.

This was a gorgeous remote campsite near Sequoia Park! This is a pack in pack out campsite so come prepared! No general store for 35+ mins, no grocery for almost an hour.
( All winding roads). Our campsite had running water which was so peaceful, and the site was plenty large and flat. The last 200 yards you will be driving on gravel so be mindful.
Right now it’s a STRICT no fire rule, no campfire, no burning of any wood or coals.
We ended up buying a propane fire pit and large propane can from Walmart and it did the job.
Even without a wood campfire it was the best We will definitely be back!

The site was beautiful and secluded. Unfortunately when I called to confirm if we could use the campfire we were given the wrong information and only took firewood for the campfire pit. The camp host informed us upon arrival that campfires were prohibited at the moment but she was kind enough to allow us to use her butane stove. The restroom was clean and maintained. We will definitely be going back.

Hi there! The location is perfectly beautiful! Nearby are the beautiful mountains and the mountain small river. Night stars is amazing, stargazing is the most spectacular, my favorite part of this camping

We got campgrounds 12 and 13. Our favorite was 13 because it was larger and it had direct access to the creek behind the campground. The restrooms were clean, and water was right nearby. We were allowed a small campfire, which was more than enough to get s'mores going. There was an alert about a rattlesnake and a bear sighting, which was a bit concerning, but what's camping if there isn't wildlife? Overall, we had an amazing experience, and we are really glad we found this little gem. Definitely one to book again.

Eshom was a gorgeous campsite - lots of tree cover but with a high canopy, so it feels very open even though there is a lot of shade. Site 06 was just downwind from the bathroom so there was some odor with how the wind was blowing when we were there. The bathroom was clean and plenty of potable water. We were fortunate enough to be the only ones at the campground on a Monday night, so were able to move to another site. Creek was flowing, which provided some nice background noise.

Camp host was amazing and was very informative. The road to the park from the camp was very rough and I wish that were noted somewhere but otherwise very nice

Awesome campground. Very quiet area which we loved. The host was a great person warned us about the bear that was in the area and she was able to scare him aware. Never saw the bear but we would love to lol.
