Great camping site for groups! They sell firewood at the entrance of the campsite. Clean and accessible bathrooms. Will be coming back!

Site 15 was excellent, extremely private since its slopes down from the main road and is totally separated from site 14 by a wall of trees and bushes. Only can see a little bit of site 16 through gaps in the trees so felt very private. Its also a large site with tons of space to set up a hammock and a separate outdoor space from the tent site. Would definitely stay again!

We been visiting different campgrounds this summer and Dogwood was one of our top favorites to date. The facilities are super clean, huge camp grounds, clean restrooms and showers not only clean but included to the camp fee. we stayed for 4 nights and it was nothing but enjoyable.

There’s a steep hill between the parking spaces and the actual lot. Where you can setup camp is butted up against the woods - you’re in the forrest.

This site goes right up against a high school fence line. For us, school was already out of session so it was no problem for us at all. We came up for some camping in the middle of the week - so if school was in session, we probably wouldn’t have had as peaceful of a time. But this lot is spacious and secluded. At night there’s a light that shines from the high school so that could be a good and a bad thing depending on what you like.

In accordance with standard industry practices, Mountain Top Recreation will be assessing a $8 additional vehicle fee per night on the second vehicle in each single family campsite, and on the third and fourth vehicles in any double family campsite, provided these vehicles are not joined to the first vehicle by a hitch and towed onto the site. In the case of motorcycles, the first two are considered to be one vehicle and the third and fourth are also considered to be one vehicle. No additional vehicle fees are collected for bicycles. |
