Dogwood campground is highly praised for its beautiful and peaceful setting, well-kept facilities, and friendly hosts. Visitors appreciate the clean restrooms, hot showers, and spacious campsites, making it ideal for families and first-time campers. We’ve been to Dogwood quite a few times over the years and have absolutely loved our experience each time. Not far from Orange County, it’s a gem of a campground. From the moment you check in, you’re greeted with friendly and knowledgeable staff as you enter. Facilities are clean and in central locations. Campground lots are spread away from each other so you enjoy privacy at a nice distance. Lots are well maintained and clean. Great space, super secluded and exactly what you want in a campground!
This particular lot is great!! Secluded and spacious!!

The campground is very beautiful with all the dogwood, oak and pine trees. It feels like you're deep in the forest while being less than a mile from everything you might need. The bathrooms are cleaned multiple times a day and the showers are great. The camp hosts are friendly, but can be too strict regarding camp noise. We had 3 people on our campsite and got warned for talking too loud at 10:08pm on a holiday weekend. Campsite #2 is pretty nice and mostly level but is near the entrance and the camp host, and a little far from the bathroom and very far from the showers. The fire pit is also leaking coals on one side which isn't very safe.

We have been to Dogwood many times. It is always very clean and well maintained. The staff is always very friendly and helpful. The camp itself is filled with beautiful trees and provides a wonderful camp environment. Highly recommended.

Dogwood is a beautiful and well-kept campground. We were in our RV and the only thing keeping my rating at 4 stars was the slopes of the parking pads. Getting the RV level was a big challenge.

Always a great time at Dogwood! I just wish the showers didn't need to be cleaned every day from 9am-2pm.

May 2024 I had heard this is one of the nicest campgrounds in the San Bernardino, San Gabriel, mountains, it's true! There are many sites depending on your needs, tent sites are nestled away from the car, electrical hookups' for the behemoths and a number of flat spots for our pop-up. Plenty of different trees keeps the wind down as this is on the rim of the world drive behind the High School. Showers were clean w/ plenty hot water, toilets clean. This is because the hosts are terrific, especially Dave and Heather from Upland. Nice short loop nature walks as well as a longer trail down to Blue Jay are there for the day time activities. Fine dining of many varieties are available in Lake Arrowhead 5 miles away if your grill sputters empty, your ice melts and your marshmallows fall in the fire.
